Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for my piece?

Your piece is handmade using food safe clay/glazes. It is both microwave and dishwasher safe. I strongly recommend a gentle hand wash and dry whenever possible though.

I am local - can I pick up my order?

Yes!

I am located in North Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Please use the code “LOCAL” at checkout, which will waive the shipping fees. I will get in touch to arrange a day for pick up.

When will more pottery be available?

I announce shop updates and post previews of what will be available over on my Instagram. Follow along @wearepottery to stay in the loop! I share tidbits of the pottery process and new work daily in my stories and feed.

I try and do a shop update once a month. Each time I restock there will be a limited number of pieces available.

Where can I shop your pieces in person?

Join my newsletter for the latest on in person shows!

You can find my work at The Art Coddage in Mashpee Commons (largest selection), Wild Water Collective in Orleans, The Daily Brew in Cataumet, Old Main Mercantile in North Falmouth, The Inlet in Woods Hole, Kiya Marie by the Sea in Sandwich & at Harvest Gold Gallery in Center Lovell.

What happens if my piece gets broken in the mail?

If your item breaks on its way to you please get in touch with me within the first few days of the delivery!

Please send photos of both the broken item and the packaging via email. I will file a claim for you.

We can then chat about where you would like to go from there, whether that’s a new piece or a refund.

Can I return/exchange my piece?

I am not accepting any returns or exchanges right now. When/if I find a system that works for this I may revisit the idea.

Do you accept customs/commissions?

Sorta-kinda-maybe…

I really try to only take customs and commissions that are in line with the style of work that I do. That being said, I love hearing your ideas and the types of pieces you’re interested in! Please shoot me an email with your inquiries.

Please note that I do have to limit the number of customs/commissions I take. I like to leave time to explore new ideas in the studio & create new pieces for events/shop updates!

What do you use for packaging?

Getting your item(s) to you in one piece and keeping my carbon footprint small are both very important to me!

Everything is packed up and shipped out in recycled materials when I can swing it! I am lucky enough to be a part of an eco-friendly community which frequently tosses used boxes and fillers my way! I also try to snag old newspapers from a local market.
